You may have noticed there is a sequence number column for each parent record.  It is located just to the left of the Open button.

• You can assign any arbitrary numbers to parent records in order to sequence them in a particular manner.  Perhaps the sort toggles do not quite meet your needs.
• This is especially useful for Hot Filter sets.
• For instance, you can create a Hot Filter for all objects in a particular phase of processing, and then use the sequence number to indicate the processing order in that parent record set.
• Use this field any way you wish!
